Loan Process

Buying a home should be an exciting time for anyone.  Whether it is the first home, an empty nester home or a vacation property, the home buying process should not be a torture.  That is why we try to educate our customers at every step during the journey so that there are no surprises.

The first step is to allow the Loan Officer to review your financial information and decide on a monthly payment that you are comfortable with.

Next, we conduct a thorough review of your credit history and rent history to obtain a pre-approval on the loan.

After the pre-approval we process your financial documents and submit them to underwriting.  The underwriter will ensure that you meet all the requirements of the loan and request the loan officer to order the appraisal of the home as well as the Title Insurance binder.

Once the appraisal and title insurance binder have been reviewed by the underwriter you will need to obtain proof of insurance for the home.

From this point you are ready to close the loan.
